Welcome to GENX&Z on Sandwich Community Radio! I'm here with my son Nate, who’s got an incredible speaking voice and is on the autism spectrum. Nate first discovered his passion for radio at a local community college station, and this show became the perfect opportunity to dive in!

 

When it came to naming the show, we wanted something fun that reflected our musical tastes across generations. I’m a huge music lover—everything from Led Zeppelin to Gwen Stefani, pop, rock, rap, you name it (but no country!). Nate initially wanted to feature cartoon movie songs, like Toy Story’s 'You Got a Friend in Me,' but we soon realized there was room to explore more!

 

So in March 2024, GENX&Z was born—a blend of my Generation X favorites with Nate’s Generation Z picks. Together, we bring you all the music, plus fun facts, movie quotes, and lighthearted conversation. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we love sharing it with you!
